• Aganorso Leaf Signature

Eduardo and Max Fernández are the father-and-son team behind Aganorsa Leaf. This signature cigar features a small amount of medio tiempo, the rare tobacco leaf prized by growers for its rich flavor.

Aganorsa Leaf Signature Selection is a Nicaraguan puro made with a rosado-claro Corojo ’99 wrapper that covers the Corojo ’99 binder and a filler mix of Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99 tobaccos. The filler also boasts a half leaf of rare medio tiempo, which are small tobacco leaves that occasionally sprout atop some (but not all) tobacco plants above the corona priming. Medio tiempo is prized for its rich flavor and strength.

All of the tobaccos in Signature Selection were grown in Estelí and Jalapa by the Fernández’s vast Nicaraguan tobacco-growing conglomerate, Agricola Ganadera Norteña S.A., better known as Aganorsa.

“Signature Selection is blended with our best, refined, aged tobaccos selected from our most exclusive lots in our farms in Nicaragua,” said Eduardo Fernández, owner and founder of Aganorsa Leaf. “We are very excited to now share it with tobacco enthusiasts in the marketplace.”

    Four Kicks Mule Kick Limited Edition 2018 (5 7/8 x 52)

    Boxes of 10 Cigars

As with the blends that were released in 2012 and 2017, the Mule Kick Limited Edition 2018 is a 5 7/8 x 52 toro and it incorporates the same tobacco in the binder and filler as the regular Four Kicks line. However, there is a major change to the blend: the wrapper on the newest version is a Connecticut habano as opposed to the Ecuadorian habano that covered the two previous versions.

“We could’ve easily re-released the (original) Mule Kick blend again; however, we wanted to take it to another level,” said Jon Huber, Crowned Heads co-founder, in a press release. ” When we added the Connecticut (Habano) wrapper to the blend, we collectively agreed that it just truly added another dimension of structure, flavor, and intensity that surpassed the (original).”

Once again, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. factory is handling production, the same factory responsible for the rest of the Four Kicks line.

Illusione Cigars is proud to present ONEOFF. A breakout cigar at the turn of the 21st century that gained an immediate cult status. They had the opportunity and duty to recreate the fire and essence that was the impetus of the brand and they have achieved it.

The history of the OneOff brand isn’t particularly long, but it is a bit unusual. It was created by Andrea Molinari in 2001, who ran a La Casa del Habano in Milan, Italy and wanted a cigar brand of his own. Molinari was also the CEO of Italian airline Lauda Air S.p.A. When he couldn’t get a cigar brand made in Cuba, he sought the expertise of the Plasencia family in Nicaragua. The Plasencias made OneOff cigars under contract for Molinari at their Segovia Cigars S.A. factory in Nicaragua, but initial production was very limited and the first run of cigars were only shipped to a few accounts, mostly in Asia and Europe. This was in keeping with the idea behind the name OneOff—cigars being made in such limited quantities, they were almost unique enough to be considered one-offs.
